By day, HarborWalk Village belongs to the zipline kids and the pirate crews. Around sunset the harbor changes shifts, and the boardwalk turns into one of the best nights out on the Emerald Coast. Here are the top 10 things to do at HarborWalk Village for adults.
Yes, that Coyote Ugly. The bartenders dance on the bar, DJs run the weekends, and the doors open at 7 PM and stay open late. There’s game night on Tuesdays and beer pong on Thursdays for anyone who wants to make it competitive. It’s the end of most HarborWalk nights for a reason.
Coyote Ugly Destin →A New Orleans-style daiquiri bar on the boardwalk. The house “Jester” is billed as the strongest daiquiri on the Emerald Coast, and they sell gallons to go, jello shots and New York-style pizza by the slice for balance.
Jester’s Daiquiris →A small cocktail lounge tucked inside the Emerald Grande. In their own words: no password and no invitation needed, “just intuition.” It keeps irregular hours on purpose (usually evenings from 4), so call ahead if you’re building a night around it.
On the Rocks →The harborfront spot since 1987, named for “Flying Harry T,” a trapeze artist. Happy hour runs Monday–Friday, 11 AM–6 PM, with $2 off all beer and cocktails and 2-for-1 house wine. Brunch comes with a bottomless champagne option.

The premium move on a fireworks night: the Screaming Eagle runs a one-hour Fireworks Ride timed to the HarborWalk show, so you watch it go off overhead from the water. It’s BYOB with a cooler of ice provided, and rides start at $44. It leaves from Gilligan’s Marina, 530 Harbor Blvd, about 1.5 miles east of the village.
Screaming Eagle →Tiki Pub is a floating tiki bar with a waterslide and a sound system. The Sunset Cruise is two hours at $59, and the Crab Island sandbar cruise is three hours at $79. It’s BYOB (beer, wine and seltzer only), and it also leaves from Gilligan’s Marina, 530 Harbor Blvd. It’s all-ages, so book a private boat if you want it to be adults only.
Tiki Pub →Chef Tim Creehan’s steakhouse is known for its prime rib, with the sunset over the harbor out the window. Happy hour is 5–6:30 PM nightly, and on Sundays and Wednesdays from 4 to 5 PM, two prime rib dinners cost the price of one. That’s the best date-night deal on the boardwalk.
Pandora’s Steakhouse →
Creehan’s Italian trattoria, named for his grandmother, with handmade pasta, a wine list heavy on Italy and harbor views indoors and out. From October through March, “Italia Uncorked” features a different region of Italy each month. Last orders go in around 8:15, so don’t show up late.
Nonna’s →Happy Life Cruises runs an 80-foot paddlewheel riverboat from Slip 39 at HarborWalk. The murder mystery dinner cruise is 2.5 hours with a three-course meal, and there are karaoke cruises with a full bar for the less homicidal.
Happy Life Cruises →Free live music on the HarborWalk Main Stage, right on the water. In October, Rocktober puts a rock band on stage every Saturday night with fireworks to close. In summer, there’s something every night: Coastal Country Fridays, the Saturday Social and Harbor Nights fireworks on Thursdays. Grab a drink and claim a spot on the lawn. See what’s on →
Azul Mexican Fusion sits at the quiet end of the boardwalk with harbor views (order the guava margarita). Grande Vista at the Emerald Grande has happy hour from 3 PM and a sunset deck. Fish Heads is an open-air tiki bar where dogs are welcome, and Margaritaville is exactly what you think it is, in the best way.

Happy hour at Harry T’s by 5. If it’s a Sunday or Wednesday, slide over to Pandora’s by 4 for the two-for-one prime rib instead. Catch the sunset from the water on Tiki Pub, or keep your feet on the boardwalk with a Jester in hand. After dark, find the speakeasy at On the Rocks, then finish wherever the bartenders are dancing on the bar. On a fireworks night, time it so you’re on the Screaming Eagle when the show goes off. Everything except the two Gilligan’s Marina boats is walkable from one parking spot.
Rocktober fills every Saturday in October with free rock on the Main Stage and fireworks to close. New Year’s Eve runs 7 PM to 1 AM with two fireworks shows over the harbor, at 8 and at midnight. Summer’s weekly lineup returns around Memorial Day. For everything else, including the live two-week calendar, the forecast and what’s on tonight, see our HarborWalk Village events guide.
Coyote Ugly Saloon, Jester’s Mardi Gras Daiquiris, the On the Rocks speakeasy inside the Emerald Grande, harborfront restaurants like Harry T’s, Pandora’s and Nonna’s, free Main Stage concerts, and fireworks over Destin Harbor on event nights.
In October, Rocktober closes every Saturday night with fireworks after the Main Stage concert. In summer, Harbor Nights fireworks run on Thursdays. New Year’s Eve has two shows over the harbor, at 8 PM and at midnight.

On the Rocks is a small cocktail lounge inside the Emerald Grande. It keeps irregular hours on purpose, usually opening in the evening around 4 PM, so call ahead.

Hours, entertainment schedules, prices and venue lineups change seasonally, so confirm before you go. Details checked October 2026 against each venue’s own site. Please drink responsibly and don’t drive after a Jester. See everything at HarborWalk Village →
